Remember that In Guitar the string are numbered from the bottom that means the thinest string at the bottom is the 1st string .The string has the following name:
6th string - E (the thickest )
5th string - A
4th string - D
3rd string - G
2nd string - B
1st string - e (the thinnest) Note that this is denoted by small e.
Rymember this Rythm which is most famous-
Eddie Ate Dynamite, Good- Bye eddie
Or you can make your own rythym.
I just remember them as EADGBE .
NOTE-Many people also use the reverse order; so read the EBGDAE order before you start playing.
